West Geauga Local Schools NO-NEW-TAXES Renewal Levy
The West Geauga Board of Education has placed a NO-NEW-TAXES renewal levy on the ballot for the March 6^th, 2012 election. This levy for operating the school district is a renewal of a $3.7 million, five year, emergency levy passed in 2007.

West Geauga High School’s Environmental Discovery Team is putting their love for the environment and knowledge of composting to work.

Kindergarten Registration

The West Geauga Local School District will be holding its annual kindergarten registration beginning Monday, January 30, 2012 through Friday, February 3, 2012. Registration is done by appointment only. To download the registration packet please click here. Included with your packet will be instructions on documentation needed to register and where to call for an appointment.

Expanded learning opportunities to improve academic achievement will be provided through awarded grants.

District Receives $30,000 Gift!

West Geauga recently started an endowment program and received a $30,000 gift from Board Member Michael Kilroy and his mother, Angela Kilroy, in memory of the late Edward A. Kilroy Jr. The gift is to establish a Technology Endowment which will be used to further enhance technology in the district and to compliment the technology efforts of the West Geauga Education Foundation.

The parents of the junior and seniors are already working hard to create an After Prom that will be a memorable experience for our seniors and their guests. The theme is Backstage Pass. The seniors will be VIPs the night of After Prom venturing into their very own backstage extravaganza! Please support them in their fundraising efforts to make this year's After Prom a success.

The Ohio High School Football Coaches Association has recognized the West Geauga Football Team and Zak Kucera as Academic All Ohio!

The Students of Integrity is an essay-based competition that honors high school students from the Better Business Bureau's five county service area who personify ethics through leadership, community service and actions. Congratulations to Joe Egan on receiving this scholarship award!

West Geauga High School Environmental Discovery Project Earns Scholarships and Grants in Lexus Eco Challenge!
The Lexus Eco Challenge is an educational program and contest that inspires and empowers young people to learn about the environment and take action to improve it!

West Geauga Campus is a Public Water System Regulated by the EPA
West Geauga Campus is a public water system (PWS OH284-3012) regulated by the EPA. This is a required notification that tests for lead and copper were done. Test results were below the EPA action level requiring corrective action.
